Sagittarius Full Moon Ritual June 2019

The Sagittarius Full Moon on June 17th is both fiery and dreamy. One one hand, it is going to be reminding us of the fire within so we can find our confidence to be true to ourselves. On the other, it is also going to be helping us raise our level of consciousness, and explore our intuition and dreams with greater ease.

On top of all of that, seeing as this is the last Full Moon before Eclipse Season begins, this energy is also going to be preparing and giving us clues as to what needs to be released, resolved, and cleared from our lives in order for us to continue on our journey.

More on this will definitely be revealed under the Eclipses of July, but if we pay attention, the Sagittarius Full Moon will be giving us some clues.

In order to help you gain access to this energy and to use it to its fullest potential, here is a ritual to guide you-

Sagittarius Full Moon Ritual

This ritual is best done from June 14-24, 2019

You will need:

  • Cleansing tool of choice (smudge sticks, oils, incense etc.)
  • 3 Candles
  • 1 piece of paper cut into thirds
  • 3 sheets of additional paper
  • Pen
  • Glass of drinking water
  • June Cosmic Meditation Track (optional)


1.) Begin by cleansing your aura first using your cleansing tool of choice. As you do, recite the following mantra-

As I cleanse, I align my mind, my body, and my soul. As I cleanse, I release the old. As I cleanse, my heart is clear. As I cleanse, I remove all fear. I am light, I am love. I am still, I have a strong will. My aura is cleansed, I feel at peace. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Next, cleanse your surroundings as well as your ritual ingredients. As you do, recite the following mantra-

The space around me clears. The objects before me clear. Their energy becomes light, love, and pure. The energy that surrounds me becomes light, love, and pure. I offer my love, I offer my joy, I offer my peace, and release all else that no longer serves me. Only love, joy, and peace surrounds me in this space and everywhere else I go.

2.) Take your three candles and place them in a triangle configuration before lighting. Place your glass of drinking water in the center.

3.) Take a deep breath, close your eyes and just allow yourself to sit in silence for a moment. Allow your mind to become perfectly still. If you like, you can listen to my June Cosmic Mediation, otherwise, you can just meditate on your own like this for 10 minutes.

4.) Take the piece of paper and cut it into thirds if you haven’t already. Look at the following messages below and choose 3 of them. Use your intuition to guide you-

  • You have been holding onto this for far too long, it’s time to move on (insert your name here).
  • You need to be kinder to yourself, I love you, (insert your name here).
  • You deserve better, the time has come to set some boundaries (insert your name here).
  • You should be so proud of yourself (insert your name here)! You have achieved great things and will continue to do so.
  • The time has come to decide, place your hand on your heart (insert your name here), you know what to do.
  • Everything’s working out perfectly (insert your name here), you’ll see.
  • Healing takes time, be patient with yourself (insert your name here).
  • You are so much stronger than you realize (insert your name here), you can do anything you put your mind to.
  • Things feel tricky now (insert name here), but soon you are going to blossom. Just trust!
  • Eventually you will need to let this go (insert your name here), but for now, just be gentle with yourself.
  • You are doing such a great job (insert your name here)! Your future is bright.

5.) After you have chosen 3 messages that stand out to you, write each of them on the pieces of paper you just cut. Fold up the pieces of paper and make sure they all look identical. Toss them around so you are unsure of which is which, and then place them inside the triangle of candles with the glass of water.

6.) Now, take a sheet of paper and on it write something from your past that you would like to release. This could be a belief or story that was instilled in you from childhood or something you have carried since you were young. Feel free to write as much detail as you like.

7.) When finished, pause for a moment and just reflect on what has been stirred for you. Then, when ready, look at the three folded messages sitting in the triangle of candles. Using your intuition, pick one of the messages and read it.

Again just sit with any feelings that have been stirred for you, and trust that the message holds some wisdom that you can take away from.

8.) Now, take another sheet of fresh paper and write something from your present that you would like to release and let go of. This can be something that is bothering you right now or something you have been dealing with during the last couple of weeks. Write as much detail as you would like.

9.) Then, just like before, take a moment to pause and just reflect on what has been stirred for you. When ready, look at the two remaining pieces of folder paper sitting in the triangle of candles and use your intuition to pick one. Read the message and just sit with whatever has been stirred for you.

10.) Now, take your last piece of fresh paper and write down something you have been able to create for yourself that you didn’t believe you could. This is a goal you achieved or a task you completed that you didn’t think would happen or that you didn’t think you could do. It can be something tangible, but it can also be overcoming a traumatic or challenging event as well.

Here are a few examples to help- “No one believed I could manage as a single mother but I have worked so hard and we are doing great” or “I never thought I would get over my ex, but I am so happy now.” Etc, etc.

11.) Again, just like before. Take a moment to reflect on what has been stirred for you. When ready, grab the remaining message in the center of the candles. Read the message and just sit with whatever has been stirred for you.

12.) When done, take 10 deep breaths in and out just to relax and calm your mind. Take your glass of drinking water and hold it in both hands. Recite the following mantra and then drink the water-

My work is done, the healing has already begun. I am clear, I am light. My path is right. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

13.) If you like, once you are done with all the writing you can burn the papers. If you are going to do this, please have a big bowl of water nearby that you can put the paper into when it gets too hot. Be safe! Alternatively, you can shred the paper and recycle it.
