Everyone has their own ways of staying healthy.

When it comes to learning how to stay healthy, one size does not fit all, especially when it comes to astrology. The zodiac signs all have their weaknesses, strengths, and areas that are the most sensitive. And each of the zodiac signs has their own way of staying healthy.

If you’re someone who loves to move, working out may not be much of a challenge for you. But things like mental health days and self-care are.

You may be so busy that you forget to take care of the body that is doing so much for you.

You might be the kind of person who is more cerebral and the thought of dragging yourself out of bed at an ungodly hour to workout is something you want to avoid.

We know, however, that to live our best lives and to be healthy, we need to be mindful about what we eat, we need to move our bodies, we need to have connections with other people, get 8 hours of sleep, and have those self-care moments where we can regroup, decompress, and relax.

It’s not a good idea to work out so much that you never give your body time to rest, nor is it a good idea to spend most of your time not moving. So, the sooner you can incorporate healthy habits into your life, the better.

Don’t feel that you have to do the exact same things that everyone else is doing; adapt and create exercise and eating programs that appeal to you so you’ll be able to stick with them.

ARIES (March 21 – April 19)

Aries has no problem with physical activity, but they do hate to be bored. To prevent boredom, Aries will often combine working out with a competition. They like having a work out buddy that can inspire themselves to challenge themselves.

Another way that Aries combats boredom is by doing things that might be a little out of the box where exercise is concerned, like goat yoga, trapeze-work, or aqua-spinning. They do have to watch their stress-levels and will get headaches, migraines, and even strokes.

If they allow themselves to relax and slow down a little, they’ll be better able to manage their stress.

TAURUS (April 20 – May 20)

Taurus may not love working out at the gym, but they do enjoy the sauna or being able to eat something delicious. For Taurus, it’s all about rewarding oneself for doing the things they may not love but are necessary for staying healthy.

You can think of it as a reward, an incentive, or a bribe, but it helps Taurus to keep their health goals.

They are especially sensitive to weather changes, so it’s important that they’re dressed appropriately for whatever type of weather and that they keep hydrated. 

GEMINI (May 21 – June 20)

Since Geminis love to socialize, they tend to be around a lot of people, so it’s not unlikely for them to catch a cold or the flu. It’s important to them to bolster their immune systems and take care of themselves.

As upbeat, social, and positive Geminis are, they also can be prone to anxiety, insomnia, and exhaustion, so they know they need to practice mindfulness and self-care to be their healthiest selves.

They love being able to track things, so apps like Fitbit are perfect for them to stay healthy.

CANCER (June 21 – July 22)

Cancers have a lot of emotions including sadness, depression, and unhappiness. It’s good for them to have someone they can talk to like a mental health professional, so they’re able to fully express and process their feelings.

Cancers do like routine, so they may start their day with yoga or a run and then have a sensible breakfast.

They’re usually on the lookout for healthier versions of certain foods so they can substitute those in as they can have digestive issues. 

LEO (July 23 – August 22)

Leos have a lot of positive energy and have the knowledge to take good care of themselves. However, they don’t always take the time to care for themselves.

They tend to suffer from high blood pressure and other heart issues.

They know to pay attention to what they eat and to take time to sit down and enjoy their meal, but often they’re rushing around doing things for other people that they skip doing the right things for themselves.

If they’re wise, they’ll practice mindfulness and meditation.

VIRGO (August 23 – September 22)

Virgos are excellent about making plans for their health and carrying them out. They don’t do things just because they’re trendy or easy; they do the research first and only do things that have been proven to work.

They tend to have food issues and can be fussy eaters, so it’s important for them to figure out the healthiest foods for them and stick to them.

It’s not unlike a Virgo try different kinds of diets to find out which their body reacts the best to.

LIBRA (September 23 – October 22)

For Libras, the best way for them to stay healthy is to incorporate things they love with the things they know they’re supposed to do.

For example, they may not love walking, but if they’re walking in a beautiful park or to go have coffee with a friend, it’s a win-win situation.

It’s extremely important for Libras to stay hydrated or they’ll have skin issues. They’re also susceptible to bladder and kidney problems, so the more liquids (decaf), the better.

SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21)

Scorpios do things intensely, especially when it comes to their health. To keep their energy and interest up when exercising, they always set goals for themselves, so they’re always doing better than the day before.

They tend to suffer from hormonal imbalance and sexual transmitted diseases, so they need to be diligent when it comes to self-checking and being on top of all their yearly tests.

One thing that helps keeps Scorpio healthy is for them to make an effort to see things in a positive light rather than focusing on the negative.

The simple truth is that positive thinking can do Scorpio a world of good.

SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 21)

Since one of Sagittarius’ favorite things in the world is to explore new places, especially places of natural beauty, they’re able to keep fit by the amount of walking, bicycling, and swimming they do.

Unfortunately, they sometimes can get so caught up in experiencing new things that they don’t put any focus on their eating habits.

They’re also accident prone, so they need to be fully conscious of what they’re doing at all times or they’ll burn themselves on the hot plate in their hotel room or drop their guidebook on their toe because they were trying to do two things at once.

Sagittarius need to be mindful of everything they do.

CAPRICORN (December 22 – January 19)

Like Scorpio, it’s good for Capricorn to have health goals. However, unlike Scorpio, Capricorn’s goals don’t have to be competitive, just something they can work towards.

Capricorns like to have routine and they enjoy having a healthy lifestyle. If they indulge themselves one day, they’ll be right back on track the next day.

Since Capricorns tend to have problems with their bones and joints, it’s important for them to maintain their calcium intake. In addition, if clumsiness is an issue, they need to stay away from high heels to prevent falling and breaking something.

AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 18)

Aquarius love new gadgets and apps so they enjoy things like fitness trackers and nutritional apps. They enjoy walking, especially when they have a personalized fitness playlist that they can listen to.

They tend to start off the day with healthy eating but may not end the day that way, but they do try to eat in a mindful way.

Aquarians are susceptible to sprains, twisting their ankles, and varicose veins, so they need to make sure they wear shoes with the correct kind of support.

PISCES (February 19 – March 20)

Pisces tend to go through phases — there are periods where their eating is healthy, they’re exercising, and taking the time for self-care, and other times when they don’t do those things on a regular basis.

Because Pisces are so caring and sensitive, it’s not unlike them to take other people’s problems as their own.

They need to find the time for rest and relaxation so they can decompress and de-stress.

Since Pisces are so creative, any kind of art therapy (even if it’s just drawing pictures on sticky pads) is beneficial for them.
