Venus in Taurus 2019: Opulence, Beauty, Love, & Money

Venus enters her ruling sign of Taurus on May 15th, 2019. Venus rules over both Taurus and Libra, and she expresses different qualities whenever she is home in one of these signs.

In Taurus, Venus shines down a rich energy of opulence, beauty, love, and money. In Taurus, Venus activates all of these things in our lives and gets us thinking about our inner and outer beauty, the state of our finances, and what and who we are choosing to surround ourselves with.

While in Taurus, Venus wants to guide us to align our inner world with our outer world, and to ensure that we are surrounding ourselves with things that inspire us, evoke beauty, and stimulate joy.

Venus in Taurus is the perfect time to pay attention to our material surroundings and to question whether these items are serving our highest good and sparking joy, or if they are sparking something else.

While Venus is in Taurus, she wants us to feel comfortable in our skin and in our surroundings, but she also knows that true comfort comes from within.

If you lack self-esteem, if you don’t feel good about yourself or worthy enough, no amount of material possessions will help.

Feeling comfortable in your skin happens on an internal level first and then reflects outwards onto an external level.

As Venus takes her annual journey through Taurus, she will be guiding us to tidy things up on both an inner and outer level. But something is different about her journey in 2019, and this is due to the presence of Uranus.

Uranus moved into Taurus back in March 2019, for the first time in almost 80 years. This means that Venus and Uranus will be together in Taurus for the first time in 80 years.

Uranus will remain in Taurus until 2026, but Venus moves very quickly and will be done in her home sign on June 9, 2019.

While she will return again next year, 2019 is significant as it is the first time we are getting a taste of both Uranus and Venus together in Taurus.

This is new energy that will beam down onto Earth and change the way we process and receive this vibration. It will be fun to see what Uranus and Venus accomplish during their time together in Taurus.

With the presence of Uranus in Taurus, Venus is going to have to amplify her energy a little. Uranus is a much bigger and bolder planet, and to avoid being swallowed, her energy is going to amplify and merge with that of Uranus.

This energy will be strongest from May 15th to May 25th but will linger until she leaves Taurus in June.

Under this energy imprint, Venus is going to be guiding us to not only reflect on both our inner and outer beauty, but to change the way that we see ourselves.

She is going to shine a new light that perhaps we had not noticed or seen before. She may even encourage us to change our hair, our clothes or to do something radical when it comes to our appearance and the image we choose to portray.

Venus and Uranus are not interested in fakeness or masks, together they want to expose more of our true and authentic self. Both of these planets want to peel back the curtain and expose what is truly behind.

No more covering up under a blanket of shame or self-loathing, Venus and Uranus want us to all shine and to embrace who we are, no matter how we may judge ourselves when we look in the mirror.

Our physical bodies are our unique stamp, and we need to start owning this fact.

Beauty has no definition, as they say- beauty is in the eye of the beholder. No matter what we were teased about in school, or how we feel we should look or want to look, it is so important to love ourselves for exactly as we are.

We don’t love ourselves when we lose weight, or when we gain 10 pounds of muscle, or when we dye our hair or wear certain clothes, we love ourselves now! Exactly as we are.

As Venus and Uranus continue to come together in Taurus each year from now to 2026, we are likely to see more raw and real beauty. People expressing themselves exactly as they are and exactly as they see fit.

People will feel less compelled to fit into a box when it comes to beauty and fashion, and we are going to be able to see more truth, authenticity, and real self-love.

In a world that often preys on insecurity and fear, loving yourself is the strongest, boldest, and most courageous thing you can do.

When you learn to love yourself and truly accept yourself for all that you are, everything else aligns. It sounds trite, but it’s true! Love yourself. Be your biggest champion. Don’t hide away. Just be You.

Walk down the street with a new confidence, with the belief that you are awesome, worthy, amazing, and perfect just as you are. And as you do, Uranus and Venus will be clapping from the heavens!
