Weekly Tarotscope: Eclipse Aftermath Invokes Strength

Weekly-Tarotscope-Eclipse-Aftermath-Invokes-Strength.jpgWe may still be feeling the aftermath of the powerful eclipse, and this time that is a good thing. Usually, these cosmic events leave us feeling drained and emotional, but this time is slightly different.

We are all being given Universal strength- and it is at a time when we need it most. This upcoming week might present a few challenges.

Here is the July 16 – 22 tarotscope for each Zodiac sign:

Aries

The Chariot indicates a lot of energy but not free-for-all energy. It’s directed, controlled, and has a goal in mind.

When this card appears you are likely to be fairly clear on what your hopes and dreams involve and what you are willing to do to make them come true. The Chariot points to determination and ambition.

It’s about getting things done and testing and proving that you’ve got what it takes. This is a sign that you should move forward with whatever you have in mind (and in your heart) and give it your best shot.

Remember, though, that you’ll need to use both your intellect and your heart, to be truly successful. The Chariot is associated with the Constellation Ursa Major (Great Bear) and the Hebrew letter Zain.

Big changes may come on the heels of the new Moon solar eclipse this week for you, especially regarding your occupation. You may be searching for a meaningful way forward.

With the Sun shining in your home and family you might decide to shift directions and put your energy into a more sustainable lifestyle.

Taurus

The Nine of Cups is one of the most uplifting and pleasant cards to receive in a reading. Known often as the “wish card” it can mean that what you are hoping for or dreaming about most is very likely to be yours – in a brief period of time, generally, too.

The appearance of this card is usually a portent of happiness and good things about to come.

It also usually means that what you want is likely to come into being in your life. If asking a yes/no type of question, this card is the most powerful indicator of “yes”, but like everything else in the tarot, that is not carved in stone.

You may be involved with a matter concerning a sibling this week. Have you reached a conclusion that involves a close relative?

Education may figure prominently in your choices but choose carefully as the consequences could linger for some time going forward. Sudden shifts could help to sway your decision-making process.

Gemini

The Six of Cups is often a card about nostalgia; looking back on how things “used” to be. It can be (but is not always) connected with children or childhood.

It’s important not to spend too much time and effort thinking about the “good old days.” We all have happy memories to reflect on from time to time, but if we start thinking that the “best of all years have gone by”, then that can become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Financial decisions may prompt you to reconsider how to move forward. Details that involve large institutions or elderly relatives are likely to emerge and shed light on your choices.

A shifting landscape may color your options quite unexpectedly as you try and set a new course in response to a different set of rules.

Cancer

The Three of Wands is a sign that your finances will be going better, in fact, this can be the week that your proverbial ship has come in.

You are likely to be feeling very strong and with good reason. You may be finally experiencing some important success after you’ve been through some difficulty.

The Three of Wands refers to work, in an extremely positive way. Even if you don’t work outside the home, it means that your efforts are seen, appreciated, and are well-respected. Give yourself some credit.

A powerful shift in Cancer may solidify your plans regarding a significant partner or close friend.

Nonetheless, the spotlight may be shining on you and yours this week as you wrestle with plans for moving towards the security of a stable relationship. Consider the potential and stand by your choice.

Leo

The Three of Swords is depicted in most Tarot decks as a heart with Swords going through it but it is not all bad. Although there is an element of sorrow that is undeniable when this card appears, what lies on the other side of this sorrow can be enhanced by understanding and joy.

Allow yourself to fully experience any sorrow or pain that comes up now so that you can move beyond it. In general, this card can point to very deep emotional issues that must be addressed before you can move on.

Denying pain does not make it go away (any more than denying a broken leg makes it heal.)

However, attention must be paid to balance here also as it must be paid with the 2 of Swords. Allow yourself to experience any pain that comes up now, but do not wallow in it.

You do not and should not wallow in grief or sorrow for long. However only you can decide how long is long enough. Others can’t decide it for you.

You may decide to enlist in a new exercise regimen to boost your strength and resilience. You may also look to diet to help shore up your immune system. All of these ideas point to a new way forward regarding your well-being.

Virgo

The Moon means that things may seem somewhat confusing to you now. You may find it hard to understand where you are coming from, much less what others are thinking and feeling!

You need to try to sit with the uncertainty, don’t try to force things or people to do things before they are ready. You are definitely in a more psychic and intuitive phase than usual, so it will be important for you to trust your instincts and your impressions, even if you don’t know where they are coming from.

Also, not that you need to be mistrusting, but it will be helpful for you to realize that when this card appears, it’s possible that all is not what it seems. If you feel you can’t trust someone, then you probably can’t.

Go with your gut. If you are waiting for an answer from someone, it may, unfortunately, take longer than you would like for it to. Try to stay patient.

Much of your attention this week may evolve from a collaborative creative effort you may be pursuing. Actions you take this week may set the tone for future projects so pay close attention to any and all exchanges you have with creative partners. You may have a powerful impact on the project and you may be well received.

Libra

The Page of Pentacles can be a card about boredom, in some ways. You may be tempted to say or do things to shake things and people up just for a little excitement.

Rethink this impulse, and find a better use of your energy. Excitement can be created. In general, the Page of Pentacles is excellent energy to support you when you have somewhat tedious work to get accomplished.

The Page can give you focus, backbone, and the wherewithal to stick with a task that is not necessarily glamorous or fun. Don’t try to sidestep effort, or you will fall on your face.

Keep your focus on your career options this week since they might be surprising. You may be facing a tough choice on relocating perhaps, or looking to make major changes in your domestic realm.

The unexpected news may come from a large organization such as banks, insurance companies and the like. Great financial prospects.

Scorpio

The Four of Swords is a card that signifies a break or needs for a break from normal life. This can also mean that you or someone in your life may withdraw for a time.

This withdrawal is not likely to be permanent. It also occasionally means illness or time in the hospital or in extreme cases in jail. It’s a clear signifier to give people their space.

The Four of Swords usually means that you are needing some time and space to yourself. Others may be pushing too hard for bits of your time and attention.

Don’t hesitate to draw boundaries for yourself or to say no. Conversely, when others say no to you, take them at their word. Pushing in this circumstance is asking for trouble.

This week may shed some light on your future and how education and travel might play out in that regard. Moves that you make during this time may have an influence for a long time so choose carefully with that in mind. Review paperwork and secure contractual agreements. Research can provide valuable insights.

Sagittarius

The Page of Cups is a signal to allow the childlike side of yourself to come forward. Like most of the Cups suit, the Page is an uplifting and encouraging sign to receive in a tarot reading.

It also can show that someone, likely someone who is younger than you, is coming your way before long with a message for you.

The Page of Cups shows a need to play, to dream, to have a little fun. When this card appears, it sometimes means that you’ve been taking yourself far too seriously.

Margot Fonteyn said “The one important thing I have learned over the years is the difference between taking one’s work seriously and taking oneself seriously. The first is imperative and the second is disastrous.” Know the difference.

Financial concerns may plague you during this eclipse season. Decisions that you make during this time will have far-reaching consequences so be sure to take your time and weigh out your options.

Responsibility may be the overarching theme that dictates your choices. As long as you are well-intended you may be rewarded.

Capricorn

The Magician is about making higher and better use of all of your power – Spiritual, emotional, and otherwise. This card often signifies new beginnings and great expectations. This is a very powerful, positive omen in a reading.

This card reminds us that we have the power to make a difference, in our lives and in the greater world, if we simply make a point to try.

You may notice many synchronicities, which point towards deep, spiritual events taking place regardless of the “importance” of their superficial appearances.

You should be finding that you have the knowledge, strength, and inspiration needed to meet your challenges. In general, this is a very positive time for you.

Aquarius

The Three of Pentacles is a very positive card, particularly with regard to work and career questions, but it’s a good overall omen that you are in general, doing well.

The Three of Pentacles tells you that the people around you appreciate you and your efforts, and notice the quality of what you do, even if you don’t get a paycheck.

The Three tells you to keep doing what you’re doing as you are on the right track (although there is always room for improvement.) You don’t need to scrap something and start again.

With Mars in Aquarius, you may be unusually motivated or aggressive. If you can harness this influence you may be able to make great progress.

Watch your tone though with a significant partner who may not appreciate your attitude. You might be on the edge of completing a viable project and you’ll need the tenacity to complete.

Pisces

The Ten of Wands can make you may feel as though you are carrying a very heavy burden. You may want to look hard at this and see if there are any ways that you might lighten your load either literally or figuratively.

If you look carefully you may find that part of the burden you are carrying emotionally actually belongs to someone else. It is important for you to pace yourself now.

Don’t try to do too much. Sometimes the Ten of Wands indicates that you have been too successful and would be well-served by scaling back. You are probably tired, you’ve worked very hard, personally and professionally, and could use a break. Give yourself one.

Tread carefully when dealing with business associates this week. You might say something ar act a bit too eagerly and you could throw work off track as a result.

You might be motivated to bring a project across the finish line, but you may find that a wiser approach would be to heed your partner’s advice.
