Negative energies and are not something we can avoid in this world. While we can do our best to get rid of them and fight them off we will come in contact with them throughout our lives no matter what.


While some people radiate positive energies others do the opposite. Whether you are aware of it or not you might be harboring negativity within your being. It is important to cleanse your body from time to time to prevent the energies within from becoming stagnant. People with lots of built up negative energies are often unhappy and insecure. If you’re feeling down and out you might need to do something to clear the energies before you up.

Below I am going to go over some of the ways that you can work to move away from negative energies and promote positivity. While not all of them will be as simple as the others they will all work wonders in your life. The more you work within the better your life will be.



8 Ways To Banish Negative Energy From Within Your Being:


1. Change the way you think.

You can get rid of negative energies by changing the way that you think. You have to really shift to a more positive way of thinking. When something bad happens you have to change the way you react to it.

When things go the wrong way you have to really stop yourself from overreacting. You have to be able to pause and think things through. While this might sound hard, it is a lot easier than it seems.


2. Smudge your body.

Get yourself some smudging tools and smudge your body. Smudging your body will help you to really get energies flowing and allow you to relax. I smudge my body with white sage but you can do it with whatever herb you see fit.

In doing this you are cleansing your aura and promoting a more natural form in regards to your personal energies. It should be done every few weeks and will provide you with an ‘energetic shower’ basically. It might come across as a bit peculiar, but it will really benefit you on a soul level.


3. Write everything down on paper and shred it.

Write down everything that is bothering you and do not hold back. If something is bothering you really do your best to get it out on paper. This brings awareness to it without giving it power. Once you’ve written down all you can think of crumble it up, cut it up, or simply throw it away. This is you letting go of the things that are no longer serving you.



4. Cut ties with negative people.

Negative people will always push their energies onto the people around them. You have to be able to cut negative people out of your life if you want to become more positive. While it might not be easy or something you like to do, it is something that needs to be done.

Make sure that you set clear boundaries with the negative people that you cannot completely cut off and do not let them leave you drained. If they are bringing you down, walk away. There is nothing wrong with doing what is best for your own well-being.



5. Do something that makes you happy.

When you’re giving into negativity you have to remind yourself to do things that you enjoy. The best way to get out of a slump is to find something that really brings forth happiness. While you might not know what to do right off the bat if you really think about it something will come to mind. Do that something and really get yourself back on track.




6. Visualize two sides of things and move towards the positive.

Visualize the good side and the bad side of things. Move your being through the bad side and make your way out to the good side. Do this during meditation as frequently as you see fit. In doing this you will promote a positive mindset and you will begin to lean towards the positive side within your being.



7. Practice white light meditation.

While meditating envision a white light coming from within your body and radiating over your being. See this white light as completely circling your body. Once you feel this white light is where it should be continue about your day. This white light will protect your personal energies from negative attacks.



8. Remind yourself that you are in control of your own energies.

Do not let other people tell you what to do or who to be. Remember that you are the only person in charge of your life. While others may try to bring you down if you want to be positive you will be positive. Take each moment as it comes and remember to breathe above all else.
