Similar to May, the month begins with a New Moon but instead of it being in Taurus we are on our way to experiencing what Gemini season really offers.
Tonight, after spending the first part of the day, the Moon leaves the sign of Taurus and starts an completely new month-long lunar cycle.
The New Moon signals to wipe the slate clean and clear your energy for what comes next. After a lunar cycle in the comfort of Taurus where we focused on sensuality and matters of home and career, focus on how life takes a turn for the better is emphasized by the Twins.
The New Moon in Gemini opens the door to vitality, new ways of thinking, perceiving and transforming your life. If change starts from within, it’s time for a renewing of the mind and re-learning how to be a child again (on the inside) while adulting in healthier ways (on the out).
June brings with it the energy of Gemini. Gemini season begins in May on the 21st and lasts until June 21st.
Gemini is a fast-paced season, as it is ruled by the quickest planet in the universe, Mercury.
Mercury can move through a zodiac sign anywhere from 14 days to 30. In fact, on June 4th Mercury enters the sign of Cancer after spending 3 weeks in Taurus and what feels like less than 2 weeks in Gemini.
Mercury invites you to focus on the way you think and how it affects your communication style. With Mercury entering Cancer, this relates to the dynamics involving authority, family members (in particularly your parents) and on social media.
Retrograde season is still alive and well. Saturn and Pluto are conjunct in Capricorn and both retrograde.
This week, they will begin communicating with Jupiter which is retrograde to expand your future in a powerful way, while dealing with some past problems that could have held you back.
Here’s a run down of how the month of June will be a good one for your zodiac sign.
Aries (March 21 – April 19)
Mercury and Mars will activate your 4th house this month, house of home and family matters. Expect to focus on domestic matters. If there’s a situation at home you’ve been avoiding, that might no longer be possible. Just let everyone know where you stand and what your expectations are.
They’ll get the message. Sun and Venus will spend much of their time in Gemini in the solar 3rd house, the house of conversations and communications. Once the tough talks are over, you can expect some upbeat chats.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
Mars and Mercury are in home- and family-oriented Cancer. Your attention will be drawn towards home and family matters. You might need to make some tough decisions, especially around the middle of the month.
You’re practical and don’t make snap decisions. So, rest assured, you’ll get it right. Venus and Jupiter will add some fun to your life this month. Just don’t be over-extravagant and splurge too much. Or, why not? When was the last time you did that for yourself or a loved one?
Gemini (May 21 – June 20)
Looking for more fun and excitement, Gemini. This is your month. The Sun and Venus spend most of their time in your sign. And, in the solar house of personality. You’ll find it easy to draw others to you with your ever-present smile and outgoing personality.
Not to mention your sense of humor. If you’re single and looking, this is a good time to get out there and mingle. You can binge watch TV another time. Go out and play! Just keep an eye on your expenses with Mercury and Mars in your house of money.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
Expect to bite your tongue a lot this month. Mercury and Mars double-team in your solar house of personality. Being patient will be difficult at times. Especially when your feelings get hurt (intended or not). This is especially true in mid-month, when a Mars opposition to Pluto adds to the mixture.
Resist the urge to strike back. Think long about what the relationship means to you before you let loose. Try to resolve things without hurling insults, breaking things, and slamming doors.
Leo (July 23 – August 22)
Well, Leo, the Sun, Mercury, and Mars will all spend time in your house of secrets and private matters. They’ll be in ultra-sensitive Cancer, too.
This can leave you backing away from an important relationship. You’ll wonder whether the two of you are really good for each other. You might also feel you need time alone. Take it. Venus will offer opportunities to socialize with new individuals.
Virgo (August 23 – September 22)
Time to mend your relationships with individual people you might find yourself at odds with. This might include a parental relationship. Even if you haven’t had your say, it’s likely best to forget and move on now.
Authority figures will be especially powerful this month. Especially the middle of the month when Saturn, Pluto, and Mars team up. Investing your energy in some serious fin with like-minded friends will be a better use of your time.
