Have You Been Experiencing These ‘Ascension Symptoms’?

Ascension. What is that you may ask? Let’s pull all the ‘airy-fairy’ out of it for a second. The Oxford dictionary’s definition is as follows: “the action of rising to an important position or a higher level.” Does this resonate with you?

How do you know if you are ascending? Even without the conscious awareness, or pursuit of enlightenment, we are all in this together and we are ALL moving forward. Have you been faced with massive struggles and challenges lately?

Being forced to let go of what is no longer serving you? Having to make difficult decisions that have the potential to change your life in a drastic way?

These are all indicators that you too, are ascending. Many feel that the process of ascension involves your vibrational frequency becoming lighter; through this, the ego is becoming less dominant as your energy, mindset, and understanding move closer to oneness consciousness or living from the heart.

Ascension Symptoms

There are many symptoms of ascension. Here are just a few that, although not always easy, signify that you are on a path, that leads you to your highest truth, power, and potential. It is important to know that we are all on this path, whether consciously aware of it or not.

Some people take a more active, accelerated route; others choose to repeat the same lessons more often and may not gain the insights as quickly. We are all in this process of awakening together. You are ascending if you have you been experiencing the following.

You may have become more sensitive to the energy of others, to certain places, to the food you’re eating, chemicals, loud noises, strong smells.

You are more in tune with what doesn’t resonate with you and you may find it uncomfortable to be in situations that aren’t in alignment with your being. On the flip side, you may also be experiencing a level of empathy and compassion where you can fully feel what others are going through or expressing to you.

You may find yourself more in tune with nature, trees, the cycles of the moon. Perhaps you are feeling more joy from the warmth of the sun, or the sound of the crashing waves of the ocean.

 

2. Physical Symptoms

More often than not, repressed emotions become stored within our bodies. When you begin to shift energetically, areas in your body that are still holding onto density will let you know.

It is not uncommon to feel pain or discomfort in the legs, neck, and shoulders. Reiki, acupuncture, hot salt baths can all provide some relief from these painful areas, also beneficial is diving deep into any suppressed emotions or blockages, and working through them.

 

3. Mood Swings & Sleep Disruptions

Have you been jumping from totally happy and blissed out to super down and depressed? Sometimes, as we raise our vibration and become more attuned to the energy of others, we can easily take on these energies as our own. It can be quite difficult to discern if what you are feeling is coming from you or a friend or even a passerby.

While the moments of happiness and joy can feel great, they are often fleeting. If you can, try not to get too attached to any feeling or sensation and just know, ‘this too shall pass.’ Sometimes a good cry is all you need to release what you are feeling. Don’t be afraid to feel your emotions, without feeling them it can be quite difficult to fully process them and let them go.

A lot of the spiritual work and healing happens during sleep. It’s no surprise that you may find yourself waking up in the middle of the night and having a difficult time falling back to sleep.

Perhaps a break from all of this work is just what you need? Instead of just laying there frustrated, use this time to journal, draw, get outside and look at the stars.

If you can, try and see this time as a gift for some quiet time for yourself. You also may want to sleep more or less. The work we are doing here takes a lot out of us. Rest when you need to and take care of yourself.

 

4. Changing Relationships

Have you been feeling the need to step away from relationships that you may have previously thought would last forever? Do you have to make difficult decisions in regards to a long or short-term partner?

Many of my old friendships have naturally faded away, which at first was quite sad, but really this is just making more space for new relationships which are more aligned with where I’m at.

Your vibe attracts your tribe — it’s only natural that throughout this process of letting go of what might be holding you back, or no longer serves you, that you become more aligned with what does and those that have the capacity to support you, or even provide you with the challenges you need to continue growing.

It has been said that people who enter our lives do so for either a reason, a season or a lifetime. Know that not all relationships are meant to be forever, despite what the mainstream media would like us to believe, and when something is no longer serving, it is okay to let go.

5. Repeating Number Sequences

This is probably my favorite! I constantly see 1:11 and 11:11, if you happen to follow me on Facebook, then you may notice that I post this number quite often, but not even close to as many times as I see it. I see this number not only on clocks but also license plates, phone numbers, the word count of my articles, labels — everywhere.

When I do see it, I often take it as a friendly little reminder that I am on the right path; everything is as it should be and that my angels, guides, or simply the universe are supporting me. Sometimes I will see 5:55, 4:44, or 9:11, all of which have different meanings according to numerology.

When I tend to repeatedly see the same number pattern, I will look up the numerology of the sequence, and it is almost always in alignment with whatever I may be struggling with at any particular time. It feels good to know and trust that we are all being supported through this process of ascension.

 

6. Increased Intuition & Psychic Ability

How often do you dream about someone that you haven’t talked to in a while when you wake up to find a message from them the next day? What about randomly thinking about someone and then they call or text?

Or knowing who is calling before you look at your phone? Running into the same person in the most random places? Getting a really good feeling about a decision, going for it and having it all work out? We all have these gifts of intuition and psychic ability; it’s just about becoming more in tune and aligned with these gifts.

If you are unsure about a decision you have to make, you can practice by quieting the mind, going inwards and just listening. Intuition comes from the heart, and it will never lead you astray, you just have to be still and listen to what it’s telling you.

 

7. An Innate Sense Of Trust & Security

Despite the fact that at times everything feels like it is crumbling all around you, and nothing is working out as you had planned, you still have this feeling of trust in your heart.

Deep down, you know that everything is going to be okay, you are able to recognize the challenges, struggles, and hardships as stepping stones along the way to propel you further towards your purpose.

You might not see events in your life as “good” or “bad,” but are able to simply trust the process and know that everything happens for a reason.

Of course, we all get caught up in worry, guilt, fear, or shame from time to time, but we are able to recognize these feelings for what they are and not get completely lost or wrapped up in them. There is a higher awareness that helps you to know in your heart that everything is going to be okay.

 

Are You Noticing These?

If you resonated with any of the above ‘ascension symptoms’ then yes, you are definitely going through it and the answer is to keep going within.

If you didn’t, well, believe it or not, you are still on this path as well, just maybe in a different way, or perhaps not paying close attention at the moment. We are all just walking each other home.

Although some people aren’t obviously on the same path as you, they may be providing others with exactly what they need to let go of what is not serving. We are all in this together, and no one is exempt.

There is a massive shift in consciousness taking place on the planet, likely in our whole galaxy and quite possibly all over the entire Universe. The more we awaken, step into our truth, live from the heart and raise our vibration, the more it will inevitably affect others. By raising our own vibration we raise that of all others in our field. This is a very exciting time to be alive!
